Cultural epicenter of the neighborhood

"Every seed carries in itself the tree
which will one day grow.”

The garden of the old mansion, headquarters of the former Fazenda Brandina, houses a leafy fig tree more than 200 years old.
It was under the shadow of this majestic fig tree that the ceremony took place donating the farm to the Fundação FEAC, established in 1964.
The neighborhood is named in tribute to this noble gesture of donation, as is the Casa Figueira immersion space, which will have a new fig tree planted along with it, in honor of the place where it all began.

The design by Andrade Morettin includes a 150-seat auditorium, with the most advanced acoustics, lighting equipment and scenographic resources.
